These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Stress Less app, the stresslessdaily.com website, and the Stress Less newsletter, together referred to here as Stress Less. Please read them carefully. By using Stress Less you agree to these Terms. Where Stress Less is provided to you through the Apple App Store, you also acknowledge that Apple may enforce these Terms as a third-party beneficiary.

Stress Less is a wellness tool, not medical advice
Stress Less is a general wellness and self-help tool. It is meant to help you notice your stress and to offer light, almost gamelike suggestions for feeling better in the moment. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and nothing in the app is medical, psychological, or professional advice. We make no claim that the app will lower your stress or improve any health outcome. The suggestions are a resource you can try, not a treatment, and they come with no guarantee of any result. Use your own judgment, and talk to a qualified professional for any health concern.
If you are in crisis, or you think you might harm yourself or someone else, please reach out for real help right away. In the United States you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Anywhere else, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country. Stress Less is not an emergency service and cannot help in a crisis.
By using Stress Less you confirm that:
Stress Less is not directed to children under 13. If you are using it as a minor, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian.
This version of Stress Less does not require an account. You do not sign in, and you do not upload or publish content to other people. The stress you log and everything the app builds from it stay on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Some content in Stress Less, including insights and de-stress suggestions, is generated automatically by on-device AI. This content is produced by software. It can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation, and it is not reviewed by a person before you see it. Treat it as a prompt for reflection, not as fact or advice, and do not rely on it for any medical, legal, financial, or other important decision.
We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use Stress Less on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and the App Store rules. We and our licensors keep all intellectual property rights in the app, including its software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks. You may not copy, sell, resell, rent, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of Stress Less except as the law allows.
The stress entries, notes, and other information you create in Stress Less are yours, and in this version they stay on your device. We do not collect, access, host, or share that content, and the app does not let you publish it to other users. You are responsible for the content you create. Use Stress Less only for what it is intended for and only in ways that are legal. Do not use it to break any law or regulation, to infringe anyone's rights, or to interfere with how the app works for others. We may limit or end your access to Stress Less if you misuse it or breach these Terms.
Stress Less offers optional paid features through in-app purchase. Current prices, plans, and what each plan includes are shown in the app and on the App Store and may change over time, so please check the App Store for the most up-to-date pricing. All purchases and subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through your Apple Account.
When you subscribe through your Apple Account, you acknowledge that:
If a free trial is offered for a subscription, it converts automatically into the matching paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. Trials are managed through your Apple Account.
A lifetime purchase gives you access to the paid features for the operational lifetime of the Stress Less app. If we discontinue the app within 12 months of your lifetime purchase, you may contact us to request a refund. After 12 months, no refund will be given, and lifetime access continues only for as long as the app remains available.
Because Apple processes all purchases, refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies, not by us. If you want a refund, request it through Apple. The only exception is the lifetime discontinuation case described above.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. For digital content delivered immediately, this right is lost once delivery has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you lose the right of withdrawal, which applies to in-app purchases that unlock content right away.
If you are a consumer in Brazil, you have a right of regret to withdraw from a distance contract within 7 days of purchase. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@stresslessdaily.com. Where a purchase was made through Apple, any refund is still processed by Apple.
Stress Less is provided on an as is and as available basis, and you use it at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will meet your needs, that it will be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error free, that any defects will be fixed, or that the content and suggestions are accurate or effective. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will 1ManStartup LLC be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, Stress Less. This includes any damage or loss resulting from errors or inaccuracies in content, interruptions, unauthorized access, or your reliance on any insight or suggestion produced by the app.
To the extent any liability is not excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to Stress Less will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless 1ManStartup LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of Stress Less, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party right, or your violation of any law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for breach of any such non-excludable right is limited, at our option, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
We may update, change, or release new versions of Stress Less, and some updates may be needed for the app to keep working. We may also interrupt the service for maintenance or other changes, and within the limits of the law we may suspend or discontinue the app altogether. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any part of Stress Less without our written permission.
We may amend these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, give notice in the app or by email. Changes apply going forward from the date they take effect. If you continue using Stress Less after a change, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a change, please stop using the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles, and any dispute will be brought in the courts located there. If the law of your country provides higher consumer protection, those higher standards prevail, and this choice of law and venue does not apply to consumers in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, or Iceland to the extent it would deny them protection they cannot waive.
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our permission, and we may assign ours where your legitimate interests are respected. The disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and license terms survive the end of these Terms. These Terms are written in English, which is the authoritative version.
